Packaging

For convenience, our products can be purchased in containers starting from 5 kg to avoid excessive contact with air during opening.

We supply DEFENS products in plastic and metal containers. Plastic containers are more convenient for transportation, made from materials resistant to chemicals. Metal, on the other hand, can provide better protection against external factors and is resistant to corrosion.

Storage

DEFENS materials should be stored at a stable temperature, usually between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius. High or low temperatures can negatively affect their properties. For example, at low temperatures, the resin may thicken, and at high temperatures, it may begin to cure prematurely.

High humidity can cause changes in the composition of the components. Store them in a dry place, away from moisture sources. Humidity can cause reactions of the components with air, leading to a loss of their quality.

Direct sunlight can lead to the decomposition of components. Store the products in a dark place. Ultraviolet rays can cause yellowing of the resin and loss of its transparency.

Products manufactured by DEFENS should also be stored in a well-ventilated area to avoid the accumulation of vapors.

Shelf Life

The warranty storage period is 6 months from the date of manufacture without violating storage conditions.

Always check the manufacturing date and monitor storage conditions to maximize the product’s shelf life. After the expiration date, components may lose their properties, such as adhesion and strength.

Additional Recommendations

Before using the product, especially if it has been stored for a long time, it is advisable to check its condition. For example, if epoxy resin has become viscous or changed color, it may no longer be suitable for use.

When working with DEFENS materials, it is important to avoid dirt or dust entering the container. This can affect their quality and properties.

If you are using several types of our products, it is important to clearly monitor the labeling on the containers to avoid confusion. This will help maintain organization and prevent possible mistakes during work.

Follow safety rules. Use personal protective equipment, avoid contact with eyes, respiratory tract, and skin. In case of resin contact with skin, immediately rinse the affected area with water and consult a doctor. Keep the product away from fire.
