Fire protection paint “DEFENS M” is a water-soluble fire-retardant one-component foaming composition, a thermally expanding structural fire protection material designed to increase the fire resistance of steel load-bearing structures used in public buildings for administrative purposes, commercial, industrial, and civil facilities, including food, medical, educational, and entertainment facilities, etc.
The fire-retardant composition “DEFENS M” is intended to form a reactive fire protection coating on load-bearing steel structures, increasing their fire resistance to R120.
Designed to increase the fire resistance of steel structures and facilities for industrial and civil purposes (CHP, GRES, NPP, TRC, etc.), including in food industry facilities (away from contact with food products), operated indoors with non-aggressive, slightly aggressive, and moderately aggressive environments, as well as for outdoor work under the influence of climatic factors.
Base color – white. Coloring in pastel non-saturated tones is possible (at the manufacturer’s facility).
The material is supplied ready for use. When applying fire protection paint outdoors, it is necessary to use covering materials. The choice of covering material depends on the operating conditions of the coating.
Fire protection paint “DEFENS M” is applied using airless spraying methods with high-pressure piston-type equipment (180-250 bar) manufactured by Graco or Wagner. A brush or roller may be used for application on small areas and in hard-to-reach places.
Service life of the coating – up to 30 years when the application technology is followed.
Application and transportation – in a temperature range from +5°C to + 35°C.
Warranty storage period – 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided the integrity of the packaging is maintained.
Packaging – metal or plastic buckets of 25 kg.
