Purpose and Scope of Application

Used for coating wooden and mineral surfaces, as well as as a finishing coat for Defens polymer materials. The varnish is designed to enhance resistance to oils, gasoline, aggressive chemical environments, increase the service life of the coating, provide decorative effects, and seal pores. It is used as a finishing layer for concrete in the arrangement of thin-layer, monolithic, highly filled polyurethane, polyamide, and epoxy coatings in industrial, commercial, residential, and public buildings and structures, at transport infrastructure facilities, warehouses, terminals, parking lots, when arranging insulating cladding for collectors, tanks, artificial reservoirs, etc.

Recommendations for Use

Requirements for Properties and Preparation of Concrete Base
The properties of the concrete base and methods for preparing its surface must comply with current building technical standards. The base must be strong, homogeneous, clean, dry, free from oils, fats, crumbling areas, peeling residues of old coatings, and other contaminants that hinder adhesion. The main requirements for the concrete base: compressive strength – at least 20 N/mm², tensile strength – at least 1.5 N/mm². The residual moisture of the base must not exceed 4% by weight. The concrete base should be treated using abrasive tools, shot blasting, milling, or grinding equipment. For concrete floors with a hardened top layer, only shot blasting treatment is allowed. The dust generated during processing must be thoroughly removed using an industrial vacuum cleaner.

Requirements for Application Conditions

Temperature of the compound components, surface of the base, and ambient air in the work area: from +5 °C to +25 °C.

Attention! The temperature of the base surface must be at least 3 °C above the measured dew point both during the application of the compound and throughout the entire time required for complete polymerization/drying of the primer layer. Relative humidity of the air: no more than 70%.

Method of Application

Pour the entire volume of components 1 and 2 into a mixing container of appropriate volume and mix thoroughly to a homogeneous state for 2-3 minutes. Use a low-speed (300-400 rpm) electric mixer for mixing the components. To ensure adhesion of the primer layer with the subsequent coating, it should be sprinkled with dry quartz sand of fraction (0.1-0.3) mm or (0.4-0.8) mm before it sets.
